Penguin Program

The much anticipated event finally arrived! Anna has been talking about, singing about, and drawing about penguins for a month now in preparation for this program at school. Adam and Haley knew there was going to be cookies and punch so everyone was looking forward to it!

Here's Anna in front of the "Penguin Rookery" (that's what she said...)

Here she is dressed up in her penguin costume. She memorized a long poem and many songs and other lines, it was really fun. Her poem was called "My Father's Feet" and was in the voice of a baby penguin. She said to me this week, "Did you know that if a baby penguin falls off his father's feet he freezes and dies." Nice.

Here she is taking part in a skit. She is the expert on penguins, just ask her.
