Aaaaaa....

Tonight for dinner we had gourmet chili with cheese covered tortilla chips. Anna ate a tortilla chip whole and was having a difficult time swallowing it. We've all had this happen right?, it's very uncomfortable to have the corners of the chip scratch every inch of your throat on the way down. So she was crying pretty hard and we were sitting helpless, trying to get her to drink slowly and hoping that would soften the chip or at least help her swallow it down. ANYways, too much detail, Adam saw what was happening and I noticed him standing behind her after a minute rubbing her back. He was looking at her with very worried eyes. When I told him it was very nice of him to be concerned he said "She only feels better if I rub her like this". He moved his bowl over next to where he was standing so he could eat AND rub her back! It was a very nice sibling moment, it seems like we've had too much of the opposite moments lately so it was nice to see they really do care about each other!
